Our chickens are moved daily to fresh grass where they also receive fresh water and a grain feed mix which is free of pesticides, chemical fertilizers and GMO’s. Our chickens are processed at a local processing plant, but because it is a non-government inspected facility our chickens are available for farm gate purchase only. The cost for a natural, pastured, farm fresh chicken from Hodgins Farm is $4.25 per pound. A typical chicken from Hodgins Farm ranges in weight from 5-10lbs. Chickens are available for order starting in early spring to be ready in late summer or early fall.
